National Hydraulic Pneumatic Congress and Exhibition (22-25 November 2017)
HPKON hosted the Hydraulic Pneaumatic Industry in Izmir
National Hydraulic Pneumatic Congress and Exhibition (HPKON) gathered the industry in İzmir (Tepekule) on November 22-25, 2017. TMOBB -Chamber of Mechanical Engineers, Hannover Fairs Turkey and AKDER realized the most fruitful event of the year for the fluid power sector.
During the exhibition organized by Hannover Fairs Turkey for the first time this year, 45 leading companies conducting business in the areas of hydraulic-pneumatic, automation and software displayed their innovative products and solutions under the roof of HPKON. Among these, DALGAKIRAN, HYDAC and LUPAMAT supported the event with their sponsorships. Moreover, during 4 days, several panels, workshops, meetings, trainings were held under the HPKON which is the most important Congress for the Turkish industry. Participants of the congress got the opportunity to follow the discussions related to the future of the production.
The future of the industry showcased and discussed at HPKON
The hydraulic pneumatic sector is a key line of business that provides support to all other main industries. Today it has an important concept in its agenda: Industry 4.0. During the congress, key-note speakers focused on the dynamics of this new era. Moreover, effects of these developments on the fluid power and Industry 4.0 applications in hydraulic systems were discussed by the panelists from academy and the industry. In addition to the congress, in the exhibition professionals had the opportunity to examine the Industry 4.0 compatible products and solutions presented by the leading companies and had direct access to the right solutions for themselves.
Semih Kumbasar, chairman of HPKON executive board, expressed that “there is a new world in front of the us. Both the congress and the exhibition helped the sector to understand the dynamics and possible consequences of this world. So HPKON 2017 provided an important contribution to not only our industry but also all sectors related to us.”
HPKON provided an important commercial platform not only to keep up with the innovations in the sector but also for creating new business connections. During 4 days, 3328 visitors and 528 delegates were hosted at HPKON Congress and Exhibition. In addition to the visitors from several cities of Turkey, as the first time in this year, international buyers were hosted in HPKON in scope of International Trade Mission Organization with the support of the Ministry of Economy.
