With WIN EURASIA Industry Prepares to Meet the Future
WIN EURASIA, the region's largest international industrial fair in its sector, which determines its new motto as "Industry meets the future", will be held for the 29th time between 7-10 June 2023 at the Istanbul Expo Centre. The exhibition, where today's and future's groundbreaking trends, new generation technologies and solutions will be introduced, will bring together manufacturers and purchasing sector professionals with world markets at Eurasia's leading industrial fair.
The share of sectors producing technology-intensive products in global foreign trade is increasing rapidly. Turkey aims to increase the production and export of qualified products with high technological intensity in order to achieve sustainable growth and be competitive in exports. Last year, WIN EURASIA, which hosted 500 exhibitors from 17 countries and 35,728 visitors from 92 countries in 6 halls and a 24,000 m2 exhibition area at Istanbul Expo Centre, contributed significantly to increasing manufacturing industry exports to $210 billion, in line with Turkey's 2023 targets, and increasing the export share of medium-high technology products to 44.2%.

In order to improve trade and increase exports, we applied for the Buyer Delegation Program this year in collaboration with the Machinery Exporters Association (MAIB) and the Turkish Machinery Federation (MAKFED). EXPORT SHARE OF HIGH-TECH PRODUCTS GROWS WITH WIN EURASIA
Provisional data on foreign trade shows that imports increased by 31.4% to 29 billion 202 million dollars in October 2022, while exports increased by 3.0% to 21 billion 328 million dollars. These data were produced as part of the general trade system in collaboration with the Turkish Statistical Institute and the Ministry of Commerce. Manufacturing industry products made up 94.7% of all exports in October. High-tech exports from the manufacturing sector increased from 2.6% in September to 3.9% in October. High technology products made up 2.9% of manufacturing industry exports between January and October.
