Founding Year: 1981 as a business unit; 1985 as a limited liability company (GmbH)
For many years now, the activities of DMAG abroad have been organized under the umbrella of Hannover Fairs International GmbH. This company develops new trade fair business and organizes trade fairs abroad, primarily in the target markets of China, Southeast Asia, Australia, Turkey, the United States and Brazil. A number of subsidiaries are located on site to handle the operational side of organizing and running these events.

Business activity
HANNOVER MESSEs International (HFI) has been active in the trade fair business since 1981, supporting the globalization strategies of Deutsche Messe clients by developing marketing platforms individually tailored to specific world regions.

HFI's activities include:
Designing and implementing its own trade fairs abroad (see Trade Fairs worldwide as well as official German presentations, see download)

Implementing local trade fairs based on the Deutsche Messe portfolio in collaboration with the parent company Acting as an organizing agent for the German Ministry of Economics Federal Ministry and Technics (for more information download the pdf-file on the right)

Organizing and running multi-company pavilions, presentations by organizations and associations along with national exhibitor contingents at trade fairs, world expositions and other events Overseeing DMAG's foreign subsidiaries and coordinating their activities abroad The goal of all these activities is to maximize opportunities to bring together the demand and supply side of the market in all the largest growth regions of the world.

For this reason, Hannover Fairs International GmbH concentrates on markets abroad which are considered to be international marketing hubs with substantial exhibitor and visitor potential.
